SPECIAL EXHIBIT
Mystery of the Mayan Medallion
The Secrets of an Ancient World Await!
This immersive exhibit transports visitors to Palenque, Mexico, where an archaeological team has mysteriously disappeared from a dig site while investigating rumors of a priceless jade medallion. Follow the clues the team left behind to locate the treasure, while avoiding the dangers lurking in the ruins. Field stations include archeology, biology, astromathematics, an observatory, and a tomb area, to help unravel the mystery. Translate glyphs, discover which rainforest animals are poisonous, learn how the Mayans recorded dates, and take rubbings from a sarcophagus, as you journey back in time!
